The owner is very nice.It's homely atmosphere here.

I liked the room - closet, mirrors, window with screen. I liked the hosts - very good people I liked the free water, the option for $1 coffee/teas. They rent motorbike or bicycle. I liked the shared patios on each floor- hammocks, lounging areas. Excellent value if your room is okay temperature for sleeping.

The only problem was my room 113 on 3rd floor was too hot for good sleep. the fan worked but still the hottest nighttime experience I've had in SE Asia - a 2nd fan would've helped( I could've asked but decided to leave anyway). Maybe the 2nd floor is cooler. But room 113 was too hot for me for sleeping. The shower water was not cold so that didn't help cool me off much. Also there was an old broken TV in the room. I didn't want any TV in the room.

This property had good wi-fi, freindly owners and a good central location. The rooms were a little small, bathrooms basic but fine. Unfortunately if I am bitten by mites while trying to sleep the reveiw is an immediate 1. This problem may have occured due to the fact that the beds do not have proper mattresses, they have foam bloaks inside a cloth cover, I presume this cover never gets taken off and washed and also the foam itself may pose a hygiene risk. Rats or birds may nest nearby but in Siem Reap that is very hard to stay on top of.

I left after 3 nights despite paying for 7. Although the owners were freindly I encountered a problem that unfortunately happens far too often with Booking.com guest houses. That problem being bird/rat mites, the biting bugs too small too be seen that render sleep impossible. This is a significant problem as there is a risk of my luggage being contaminated which requires much cleaning and anxiety. I only managed to sleep on the first night, I was exhausted from traveling, the 2nd night I was bitten by the mites and asked to change room. On the 2nd night the attack was even worse, on both nights I did not sleep. The owners agreed to refund me if the booking could be amended with Booking.com. Booking.Com's sustomer service department proceeded to completely ignore all my efforts to contact them, hence I was unable to secure a refund.

The staff was very attentive, welcomed me very well and helped me to rent the motorbike, with my tickets to Laos, etc.

Bathroom smelled horrible- like sewage.. which is common but it was rough
