- a big room with comfy beds, nice outside sitting area - extremely lovely and helpful owners❤️ - a lovely location in the nature with a few little shops nearby - Dambulla Cave Temple is just around the corner

- a bit mouldy-smelling room (in fact, we encountered more places like this with this issue on our travels in Sri Lanka and which is said to be due to the island's tropical climate and high humidity so it is probably difficult to handle :( ) - otherwise all ok

The owners introduced us to their own family, sharing stories and laughter as if we were old friends. They even organized a fantastic jeep safari at a budget-friendly rate and personally drove us to Sigiriya in their tuk-tuk, adding a personal touch to these adventures. But the highlight was being included in their family celebrations. During the Sri Lankan New Year, they welcomed us into their home for a vibrant, heartfelt celebration filled with traditional food, music, and joy. Beyond that, they frequently invited us for dinners and breakfast, making us feel like cherished relatives rather than guests. Great ambience. Beautiful place to stay. Hosts are soo friendly .

One of the best stays of our 2 month trip in Sri Lanka! Best value for money. The room was spacious and clean, great shower with hot water, and breakfast could be enjoyed on the little veranda every morning. The bed was sooooo comfortable!! Location is a bit out of town which for us was ideal, since we enjoy going on walks and exploring our surroundings. The hosts were incredibly nice and attentive, and helped us to rent a scooter, and took us in and out of town when we needed. Sigiriya was just a short ~30min scooter ride away, Dambulla cave temple is just around the corner. For us this was the perfect end to our trip in Sri Lanka, thank you!!

Excellent room and service for the price. Considering the value, it was a perfect stay. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. If you're seeking affordable accommodation surrounded by nature, we highly recommend it.

The property is a bit isolated and far from the city, but we knew when we booked. So we didn’t have any bad surprises.
