Park view Bungalow Wilpattu

Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hat uns auf Wunsch ein köstliches Abendessen zubereitet, das zudem sehr günstig war. Auch die Möglichkeit, unsere Wäsche für wenig Geld waschen zu lassen, war sehr praktisch. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die ideale Lage – direkt am Eingang des Nationalparks. Es gibt wirklich nichts Negatives zu sagen – ein rundum empfehlenswerter Aufenthalt.

Gute Unterkunft für eine Nacht, um in den Nationalpark zu gehen. Es war sauber aber sehr simpel und in die Jahre gekommen. Aber für den Preis in Ordnung! Das essen der Besitzerin war extrem lecker! Sehr zu empfehlen.

Our stay in this guesthouse was simply lovely. Giida is a great, warm and friendly host - and a great cook! We had dinner twice and it was d.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.s! We got hot coffee (even at 5:30 in the morning) and water and enjoyed the hammocks and the garden. The facilities are simple and functional and overall the guesthouse offers great value for money. Don't hesitate and book your stay here - it's amazing.

There are many lodges around and near Willpatu National Park. This one is very close to the park entrance and is one of the best options to stay if you want to go on a safari. The room has the basics but let's not forget that you are essentially in the jungle. The room and bathroom were very clean. Our stay there was made very easy by Gida, the owner of the lodge. She is an amazing cook but also very good company and always willing to help as we faced some problems with the rented tuk-tuk. Thank you very much and sorry if we tired you a little

Excellent location, 150 meters from Wilpattu entrance. It's an extension of the Park. Very reasonable price. Mrs Geeta, who owns the place, is friendly. She served meals and tea / coffees.Some advance notice was required. She arranged the very good four-wheeler and driver. The Driver had good knowledge of birds, exceptionally. We saw Leapord, two bears, other expected animals and a crested eagle bathing. No time pressures. Very good experience, at a reasonable price.

Mrs Geeta travels between Colombo and Wilpattu. It's good to know if she is at Wilpattu.

Right next door to the park gate, lovely lady that owns it. It pretty basic but pretty cheap at the same time. I would stay again for sure

Location- right next to the Wilpathu Park Gave us coffee before starting the safari.

Price- I received a good price via booking.com. However, the owner is not happy with this price we were paying. She gave towels for us, but kept telling that towels were not usually available for this price. (Despite calling beforehand and confirming the availability of this facility). She also said, that they need to pay Booking.com a %. ( well she is enabling the app service and it is not our fault) Their check in and check out time are incorrect in the app. We returned from half day tour at 10 40 am. She said check out at 10.30. How can someone check out at this time, as everyone is staying in Bungalow for the safari and returns late morning. I felt discriminated as a local tourist as her behaviour was good with foreigners.
