Lodges are very nice and private. Very clean, friendly staff.

No shower gel or shampoo in a bathrooms, Couple of times have to ask for the towel change and add tee bags and water bottles in a room. Gate to the beach most of the time closed and you have to work around. Swimming pool nothing like in a pictures more like jacuzzi size. Price are too high for facilities provided.

We absolutely loved our stay at Lemon Lodge. The property boasts an expansive terrain with separate bungalows, ensuring you won't be kept awake by snoring or late-night chatter from neighbors behind the walls. Bed was comfortable and had a mosquitos net. While we didn't take advantage of the pool, it was available on the premises. Plus, the beach was right in front of the lodge. The hosts, Elsa and her husband a charming Portuguese couple who relocated to Mozambique many years ago, are incredibly caring and ready to assist with your every need. Communication was a breeze and delightful. The staff was nothing short of amazing, always offering a warm welcome and going above and beyond. They even helped us organise a Bazaruto Island tour, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. We dined at the lodge every evening, and the seafood was not only delicious but also reasonably priced.

Unfortunately, there were no shampoo or shower gel provided in the bathroom, only basic soap. It would be a thoughtful addition to have these essentials included in the room. As light travelers, we tend to forego packing our own shampoo to save space in our suitcases.

Great safe location, very clean and comfortable bungalow, free airport pick-up and drop off, very nice, friendly and helpful staff speaking good English. No problem with credit card payment (Visa). Exceptional help with booking trips to other islands and with recommendation of great places in the area.

Very clean and safe and comfortable bungalow with hot water and comfie bed, nice pool. Nice staff who were always very helpful in terms of assisting with transport and lots of questions. Great to have airport pickup and drop off. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and it would have been a 10 had the promised seaview room actually had a proper seaview. Being one of my key search criteria, on arrival, it was a bit disappointing. Highly recommend as all staff are great, location is good and facilities are very nice.

I didn't like that I booked what was advertised as a seaview room which wasn't really seaview. A sort of solution was reached and hopefully the seaview description will be removed for future room descriptions. Please see 2 photos of initial view and the solution.

Vasco and Elsa were very helpful throughout our stay. A special thanks also to the staff who greeted us everyday with kindness and friendliness. The lodge is very comfortable, food at the restaurant is good and very reasonably priced. It would be good if a few more vegetarian-friendly options were made available. We would also recommend a wardrobe in the room to hang our clothes and perhaps a blow dryer. But all in all we can only recommend the lodge as it is the price-quality ratio is very good. When walking in the restaurant it felt like walking in to someone’s living room, at times.

The breakfast was disappointing. Only two choices. Healthy or hot. You can only eat scramble eggs so many times. First two days we got very nice pineapple juice and then only box juice. Saturday there was load music till 4 in the morning, very inconsiderate from the lodge. Most of the time the gate to the beach was locked.
