Quiet, lovely views, clean and well organised. A lot of thought and attention to detail. Host has made an effort to make sure all necessary house items are at hand. We felt welcomed and comfortable staying at Sibbu His.

The bedroom doors could do with some maintenance work.

La casa de Sibbu es extraordinaria. Acogedora, perfectamente equipada, decorada con gusto y cariño, es un lujo en plena campiña islandesa. La comunicación con Disa ha sido fluida y cariñosa. Hemos estado cuatro personas durante dos días y nos hubiéramos quedado a vivir allí... (Leer la historia de la casa nos ha hecho sentirnos más cerca de vuestra familia. Nos entristece que Sibbu se haya ido.) Gracias por todo! 😘😘😘

Almost everything

Very pretty setting and lots of space. Kitchen with everything you might need (but only one -plastic -teaspoon). Great oven, dishwasher, kettle etc. One could actually just stay here for a week and enjoy a little holiday in the country. Although not exactly near, it is an easy drive to a lot of sightseeing spots and even the golden circle.

The mattresses were a bit hard.

The best stay during our trip. The place was spacious and cozy. The owner was responsive to any questions we had. Should we visit Iceland again we hope to stay here again.

That we couldn't stay longer.

Beatifoul spacious house, really well equipped with everything you need. Amazing view from the bed rooms. A plus the washing machine on request. Excellent comunication with the owner.

Nothing

Great location to drive to many natural attractions. The house was cozy, well furnished, and had all the kitchen utensils we needed (without any clutter). We also enjoyed seeing the horses in the nearby field, and the visits from a very friendly cat on the back porch. The check-in and check-out processes were simple and easy.

If you visit between May-August and you're accustomed to sleeping in the dark, consider packing sleep masks! During our mid-May visit, the sky stayed light all night. The pull-down blinds on the bedroom windows worked well at blocking out most of it, but combined with our jet lag, the light coming in around the edges made it difficult to get to sleep.
