The Platz

The location is the only good thing about this property.

I don’t know how this property has such high reviews, the only thing I can think of is that there are multiple appartments rented by the same person & we just got the bad one (7A). Please note I reached out to the property & our claims were denied, however the photos (more on google review) show what we faced. Here are the issues we experienced - Dishwasher had dirty items in it & I am not sure it was plugged in to be able to use - Cobwebs were around the apartment - Blinds are ripped/damaged - Pillows were like old couch cushions not bed pillows you get in Australia - There was dust around, you can see it on the stairs - The freezer door did not close as it needs to be defrosted - No window coverings on the toilet downstairs & there is a window where others would be able to see in - Random shoes in the house as if someone lives there - The upstairs bathroom was dirty & water on the floor - Description says air con but that is only in the bedrooms upstairs not downstairs - The position of the shower head has the water coming out straight & at the height of the shower glass, we had to swivel it around to be able to use it - Beds not made, linen thrown in cupboard - Couch was dirty/stained - The smell from the bathroom upstairs was horrible, we had to spray perfume to be able do use it

the apartment is so dirty I couldn’t use the upstairs bathroom due to bad smell and not cleaned , the both bedrooms are dirty as well, all blankets and mattresses are dirty , they didn’t provide towels, and so many insects in the floor

The bedsheets weren’t changed when we’ve arrived. Host wasn’t helpful and told me to clean the apartment by myself.

Everything was good. Perfect location, very big apartment.

Location was good, apartment size was perfect for our group and the price was really good

Upstairs bathroom had a smell to it, we left the window open the whole stay and there was still a strange smell

Great property and facilities. Great location.

Pillows could have been firmer. I couldn't figure out the blinds in the living area but that may be my own fault.
