"It was okay."

Location was good. We were able to leave our luggage to do some sightseeing after checking out. Good room for the price.

Overall the room was quite clean but there was black mold on the air conditioning unit that didn't work. It was way too hot in the room as the extra unit didn't work either. Drains had a slight smell.

"Perfect Location"

Location in Sangmu is great. Very close to the Gwangju Metro, Sangmu Station. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. 5:18 park is close to the hotel too.

"Excellent service at Hound Hotel Sangmu, Gwangju"

The service by the staff: the reception, dining hall and cleaning staff was exceptional. They were very helpful. They oriented me to their hotel and the available facilities (spa chair, tumble dryer etc) and how I could use them. They even helped me with booking a train and taxi back to Seoul.

Everything was fine.

"Excellent and would definitely make use of this hotel again. Great value!"

The staff were very accommodating, and the room had everything I needed. The hotel was a bit tricky to find but in a nice location and very clean. Breakfast was a traditional Korean breakfast but did offer some options to western folk.

The breakfast was a bit limited in options.
