The lodge was clean, homely and perfect for a few days hiking in the Cairngorms. It was easy to access and came with lots of information about the surrounding area. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Very clean, good and prompt host.

the site didn't have any facilities for children although not much of an issue as Avimore does have a lot for children, I would have liked more on site. Such as a play area for the kids to kick a ball.

Absolutely fabulous lodge, in a very quiet location of the park. The lodge was very clean and welcoming. The hosts have thought of everything to really make it feel like a home from home. We cannot wait to return..

"Very pleasant & relaxing stay would stay here again."

The site was quiet and I had no worries with security. The lodge was clean and had everything we needed for the stay. The keys were easy to access via the lock box, the code for which was given automatically on our arrival day.

I don’t remember the train line at the back of the lodge being mentioned in the description. It didn’t disrupt our stay but it may be more of an issue for a family with smaller children who may go to bed earlier in the evening before the trains stop running at about 21.30. The first train I heard each day was 6:30. They don’t run constantly and we were out all day so they didn’t impact our stay at all.

Great lodge, lovely, modern and included everything that was needed for a perfect break in Aviemore. Very much appreciated the excellent tips and information provided by the owners. Would stay again!
