TownePlace Suites by Marriott Memphis Cordova

This hotel is fairly new so you won't go wrong. Its conveniently located off the interstate and main roads in Cordova. Rooms are spacious and has full sized refrigerators, which was our main need. Breakfast was basic with cereals, fruit, eggs, coffee, etc. For what we needed, it was excellent.

They did not have the room we had prepaid for, for the amount of adults. Very unhelpful, put us in 2 queen bed room. Not good sleeping situation for us. There was no price adjustment, TV didn’t work, worst hotel situation we have ever had.

The staff was friendly and had smiles on their faces. Everything looked clean and fresh.

We drove 15hrs to arrive at hotel 10pm only to find out room not cleaned yet due to some "ambassador guests checking out late evening, so leaving the staff barely any time to clean for new guests, so we had to wait till 11pm to access our room. Front desk staff were nice and tried their best but it was not a nice experience. Second night upstair guests were making loud noise, kids running, dog barking which interrupted our quiet enjoyment. Called front desk and was told the guest upstairs brazenly denied. We have always enjoyed our stay with Towneplace all over the country, but this one was one of a kind, poor.

We had a one-night stay while driving cross country. We were comfortable with their clean and spacious rooms. The gym was nice. Pool was small and cold but the kids still enjoyed it. It was storming all day so there were a lot of people at the hotel, with only one woman at the front desk doing EVERYTHING. She was excellent at her job- helpful, kind, attentive, and didn’t seem to get annoyed with endless requests for towels and pillows for guests. (Not sure why they only put 3 pillows per bed and 3 towels in the room. It would be so easier for their employee’s and for guests if they just gave the standard 4.) She was so accommodating in trying to get us a suitable room without scented cleaning products (which they do use). Ultimately we used an air scrubber the hotel had to help clear the air. Would definitely recommend!

The room was clean , the breakfast was good and it was close to shopping!

The check-in was good, but when I got to my room it smelled like cigarette smoke. The lady at the desk gave me a can of air freshener to use. It was the only room left. Never had this before with my Marriott stays. Too late to try to find a different location for the night. Bummer!!
