La nostra esperienza in questo riad è stata estremamente deludente. Avevamo rifiutato il servizio di trasferimento dall’aeroporto (25 € contro i circa 4 € di un taxi normale). Arrivate la sera, non riuscivamo a trovare l’ingresso: il riad non ha alcuna insegna, è semplicemente una porta anonima e, al buio, individuarlo è praticamente impossibile. Abbiamo chiamato chiedendo aiuto, ma la proprietaria ci ha risposto che non sarebbe venuta a prenderci proprio perché avevamo rifiutato il loro servizio. Siamo rimaste 40 minuti a girare nelle stradine buie della medina alla ricerca del riad chiedendo aiuto anche ai venditori del luogo. Dopo molte insistenze, la proprietaria è finalmente uscita a prenderci a letteralmente 70 mt dal suo riad. Come se non bastasse, al momento del pagamento della tassa di soggiorno ha cercato di non darci il resto, trattenendo più del dovuto e restituendolo solo dopo che glielo abbiamo esplicitamente chiesto dopo un tentativo di restituirci meno del dovuto.

L’emplacement, la qualité des relations avec l’hôte Didier et sa gestionnaire Karima, la déco soignée et avec goût du Riad et sa privatisation, la qualité du petit déjeuner et des repas cuisinés sur place par Karima, le calme, la piscine, l’espace confortable, les souks à 3 min, la place Djema el Fna à 5 min. Didier et Karima nous ont donné d’excellents et précieux conseils

Je vous conseille de Prendre le transfert à l’arrivée avec le Riad car compliqué à trouver au début en raison de sa position en plein centre de la médina et des petites ruelles

La ubicación muy céntrica al lado de la plaza , puestos de comida y bazar, el riad muy bonito y camas cómodas, la Ana de llaves muy simpática y amable, volvería a repetir sin dudar.

Karima la gouvernante est très a l écoûte et de bons conseils pour ses clients. Elle sait très bien en prendre soin !

My experience with Riad Cosy started with a challenge, you can’t get there with a taxi and if you have luggage, it’s not easy. Unless, you contact them before with your arrival details and I’m sure they can help sending you a baggagist (in French, don’t quote me on the spelling) as they did (as well as my airport transfer) on the way out, making my departure seamless. Upon arrival, Karima greeted me warmly and was delightful, and sat me down with some tea before showing me my room. She’s a delight and will help with anything you need including some light laundry, organizing transfers, or general advise. Riad Cosy itself is situated in a very quiet dead end street, which at first I was a little curious about the safety of it, but it felt fine even arriving back at night alone. The benefit is that it was blissfully quiet, and on the roof terrace you would have no idea you’re in the middle of this bustling city until prayer time of course, and there’s no escaping that ritual in Morocco. The entry, courtyard and shared spaces of Cosy are gorgeous. Beautifully done, styled and furnished, with a lovely cosy corner, a courtyard with tables for breakfast, and a living room that can be closed off in hot or cold weather and has a tv. The roof terrace is sensational, with a shady nook, sun loungers, chairs and tables and a pool. My only disappointment was that the pool wasn’t heated as I would have spent some time in there (it was January) had it been. This was a lovely spot to sit and do some work and relax. I had a room on the ground floor (considering the aforementioned luggage, yay) and it was lovely! They only have four rooms and they’re all stylish in a simple and uncomplicated way, but with a comfortable bed (especially by Moroccan standards) hanging space and storage spots, and a lovely bathroom area semi-open to the room but still with a privacy door.

The initial hassle of getting there although I probably could have resolved that by more contact. I would have loved it even more if the pool was heated during the cold months.

Lovely place, rooms were beautiful and beds comfy! Location was perfect, only a 2 minute walk from the main streets. Great communication with the host before and during the stay. Roof top was beautiful.

Small improvements (just to make it even better): Would be great if tea and coffee was available more easily. Different configuration of beds would be great for groups who don’t have just couples (says there are 5 beds but there were only 4 doubles).
