Olea Villas Resort

The location was excellent. The place had great views from the bedroom. The pool was amazing, the service was sensational. The place was clean. The breakfast was great. We rented a car and they had a place to park for us. They also offered their own scooter rental service but I saw in town the ability to rent dirt bikes which is what I would have done. I would highly recommend this place.

There were bugs but I guess this comes with going to this kind of area. I think in our room our AC wasn't very powerful so we had to supplement with the fan but we were never uncomfortable. There was a smell occasionally from the shower so we tended to keep this closed.

Nice villa , spacious with a big pool. The villa was nice and the staff were friendly. Not so far from nice coffee shops and restaurants with the scooter.

There was a working site next to the villa so we heard some noise coming from it. There a lot of trees around the swimming pool it is good for privacy but they catch all of the sun so we couldn’t enjoy much of it

The private pool and scenery surroundings were amazing. The staff also are very helpful and communicate quickly.

This isn’t a bad thing about the villa but more of an observation, you are in the jungle so expect some insects but only a small amount and nothing scary.

The staff are the highlight of this accommodation, they're so nice, friendly and always accommodating. The AC wasn't working the first night and they swiftly fixed it the next day. I had a nice chat with some of the staff and they even gave recommendations for real local restaurants. The villa is beautiful and very comfortable. Free water, free fruits, ground coffee (not instant coffee) and tea in the villa. You're in the middle of the forest/jungle so expect some encounters with ants, millipedes, geckos, mosquitoes and maybe monkeys who pass by to get fruits from the trees, you get a mosquito repellent in the room. You'll need a scooter to drive to town/nearby beaches, I recommend renting from a local business and not directly at the hotel (bit too pricy).

I believe they need to rethink the pricing of some of their services such as the transport service, scooter rental and breakfast, which is too expensive for the quality and portion size, we only got one breakfast for free for extending our stay, but if I would've paid it would've been disappointing. Some things could be polished to be a 10: better cleaning in some areas, trimming the vegetation in the villa accesses and pool cleaning frequency.

A quick getaway from my daily life in Bali and I decided to check out this place in Mawun area. One of my fave areas in the island of Lombok. Found this hidden gem on booking.com and we rented it for a couple of nights. Staff were super attentive and friendly. Always checking on us whether we have any question or need help during our stay. Great hospitality from the team. Room was spacious, bathroom and toilet were clean and spotless, AC was cold and quiet, TV offered netflix and other apps, bed was firm and comfortable (we had a peaceful sleep during our stay), wifi was stable and fast.

Perhaps, things that could be improved are the kitchen, utensils and drinking water quality (it tasted thick and kind of salty), I would suggest changing the water subscription to cleo/amidis/aqua/nestle. Just my thought btw.
