Bathroom was tight

+ Excellent location + Good value + Decent breakfast options + Great A/C

- Lack of outlets to charge electronics. We needed to move beds and unplug lamps in order to charge phones - Shower door could not close fully, so after a shower the floor of the bathroom was soaked from escaping water

Location of the Hotel is great. And the room was one the best for us.

It was hot during my visit and the wall mounted AC controlled by a remote did a great job of keeping the room cool. Compared to other hotels with preset settings this was much appreciated. The restaurant was very convenient. It was obvious the hotel’s design funds had gone into it as it was very charming with brick and wood. The food was good and the staff friendly.

The pillows were very small. I used the two provided and they didn’t equal one decent pillow. There was no safe. With the electronics everyone carries now a safe is essential even if the hotel owners think their area is safe. The guest needs to feel their things are secure. I asked the staff when I checked in and several times over the next two days about a tour I wanted to take. They kept saying they would be able to find out about it but in the late afternoon before the tour day they said they couldn’t and I should go to the visitor center a distance from the hotel. By that time it was too late to make arrangements. The visitor center said they don’t book tours, just give information. The hotel staff, although very friendly, were not helpful. I’d suggest guests book their own tours online.
