Fuji Dome Glamping

The owner is very accommodating and caring. The place is so cozy and perfect for people traveling alone or by group. I've been traveling and I've been in Mt. Fuji many times. This place has its new attraction that everyone will enjoy.

The Accommodations were very comfortable and the view is scenic. Its located away from the center but very much accessible so you can have your peace and quiet and still enjoy the places that Kawaguchiko has to offer.

If you want to relax and see nearby beautiful mountains, lakes and especially Mount Fuji. I recommend this accommodation. Great communication, availability, helpfulness. Cleanliness, pleasant owners, Grill. Absolutely great. Thank you very much for the experience!

Very unique experience sleeping in the open land yet with strong architecture that could withstand rain and winds and a private toilet to boot ! Host was welcoming and put in effort to bring supplies for bbq and to greet us. Was very responsive to all texts as well with great recommendations for food etc.

The arrangement of the bath and toilet bowl is kinda Strange in the family domes. Toilet bowl I thought should be attached to the double bed. Bbq pit can be cleaner though.

The place is great (clean, quiet, and affordable)! I recommend that you go around Lake Kawaguchiko either by bike, by car, or even by E-car (E-Car tours are available on site). The lake, the mountains, and the surrounding areas are beautiful. The glamping site is very close to Oishi Park (with a nice view on Mt. Fuji) and also the music museum, which I appreciated on a rainy morning. The owner and the 2 employees are super nice, and thanks to them, they went above and behind to make my experience at Fuji Dome and Kawaguchi amazing!

Check other properties around before booking this one... you will be better off! The owner had a young man son of a family friend meant to come over from South Africa to spend sometime at their home. Instead they have set off for Europe during August and have left the poor boy handling everything from cleaning to getting everything ready... He is a great young man, yet the task required from him can never allow him to keep up with everything at a very high standard. Yet hats off to him as he will be the nicest thing you would experience from this place....

As you would already have understood, if you want a decent and fair value for money place, look elsewhere. This place isn't run by Japanese people and you will immediately feel it. We have been touring a bit around the country and we were never slightly disappointed with our accommodations. Some of which were even barely a 3rd of the price per overnight. And if you want to see the sky from your bed, just forget about it. If you like basic camping, you'll feel this one as an upgrade, but there's clearly nothing glamorous about this place. Furthermore, it is very close to the road. The tent is so hot that it's hard to find some sleep. The shower was dirty, and there was no water pressure. The fridge was very dirty too, and by the look of it since a lot longer than the "young family friend helper" has been around. The smoke alarm is hanging by a wire....
