The wood-fire hot-tub was exceptional! Takes some time to warm up only because it is so nice and large. Absolutely loved it with the view

While it is nice that the entire place is running on solar, if you have any appliances like a mini-fridge that need to run overnight, it will drain the place by morning. Luckily for us it was just closed drinks

Our biggest highlight was, Mr. Andries. In all our years of traveling, we have never encountered such genuine kindness and respect. His presence, warmth, and willingness to assist made our stay incredibly special and memorable From the moment I arrived, the place felt thoughtfully put together. What stood out most to me were the small details — you can tell real time and care went into interpreting the space, not just filling it. Every little touch felt intentional and well considered, which made the stay feel personal and welcoming rather than generic. It’s those quiet details that really elevated the experience for me and made the place feel special.

A microwave would be a great addition, as reheating food was a bit inconvenient without one. Mr. Andries, the caretaker, truly made our stay exceptional. If he had not been available, I honestly don’t think our experience would have been the same. His patience, kindness, warmth, and genuine care stood out from the moment we arrived. He is clearly meant to be there and played a huge role in making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. He took the experience to an entirely different level. That said, I do feel the overall guest experience could be improved if the host were more involved. While communication took place upon arrival and we were assisted by Mr. Andries (which we truly appreciated), the host never checked in with us directly. A simple message such as, “Have you settled in?” or “Did you manage to find Mr. Andries and are you comfortable?” would have gone a long way. The hosts are truly blessed to have someone like Mr. Andries representing their property. Whether by grace, luck, or faith, having him there significantly elevates the experience, and they should be very grateful for the value he brings

A couple of things are missing, the coffee machine doesn’t work, not enough drinking glasses and the shower heads need repair. Very hard beds

I loved everything about the property and Mr Andries is LITERALLY a phone call away, bless his soul.
