Location was great -- 10 minutes away from the venue of our relative's engagement. The villa was very spacious , they even allow to add extra mattress so it could comfortably fit 4 pax. Very clean and comfrotable bed. Breakfast food was decent especially the nasi lemak, but the coffee (sweetened with condensed milk) ran out faster than the refills.

We were told to whatsapp call the number they shared if we were to enter the resort after 11pm. So after midnight at around 12:20pm after we came back from the engagement party, I called several times but no one picked up. My husband and I had to scream from outside the gate but nobody came to open the gate. We even banged on the gate with our hands a few times and were really noisy, honked the car a few times too. After 15 minutes or so, my husband decided to climb over the gate, crossed the stream and went to the reception area. The door was locked and my husband shouted several times but still stilent. So he went to the staff quarters and one of the kitchen staff woke up and helped to open the gate. The next morning, the front staff were very apologetic but said they don't do refunds. We didn't need refunds but advised that they need a better and safer SOP. What if I was alone or nobody in our group could climb over the gate?

I had a wonderful stay at Villa Renai Resort in Janda Baik. The resort is beautifully surrounded by lush greenery, creating a calm and refreshing atmosphere that is perfect for a relaxing getaway away from the city. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with essential amenities, making it very suitable for families or groups. The overall layout of the villa provides a cozy and private environment, which added to the quality of the stay. One of the highlights of the resort is its natural setting. The nearby river and the swimming pool create a relaxing and enjoyable experience, especially for those who appreciate nature. It is an ideal place to unwind, spend quality time, and recharge. The food provided was satisfying, and it was convenient to have dining options available within the resort. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the stay even more pleasant. Overall, Villa Renai Resort is a great choice for anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable retreat in Janda Baik. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to visiting again in the future.

There was a noticeable odor coming from the sofa in the room, which may require attention.
