Casa Faro

Casa Faro is in a fairly remote area north of Zihuatanejo. If you don't like being away from the crowds, don't come here. But if you want a quiet, peaceful beach vacation, this is your place. The hotel is very nice, though small. The room was excellent with a view of the ocean. The staff (Raul and Susannah) are very friendly and accommodating. There are a few restaurants within a short walk on the beach, so not having a kitchen in the room was not a problem. And the waves were beautiful--right outside our door.

The beach furniture is a bit old, but it was all functional and comfortable.

Beautiful property, beach was amazing. Very quiet and peaceful. Courtyard, so nice. Close to several nice restaurants.

Could be set up a bit better for a longer stay, have a few household amenities in the room like glasses, ice, coffeeand a few utensils etc.

Very quiet, CB lose to the ocean

I booked a deluxe room and the room I was given at check in was not one of the deluxe rooms. I did manage to have my room moved to a deluxe room however for only 3 days out of the 7 I booked. I got Booking.com to help me with cancellation of my remaining days however I asked them to assist in not finalizing the cancellation until them helped find another hotel. Booking.com assured me they would and promised to call me back with a solution. They never did call and cancelled my room.

Breakfast was delicious and in a pleasant environment.

The bed could have been softer and the pillows better. Mattress protector, and a pillow protectors should have been used. There were ants in the room. The faucet in the sink in the bathroom was broken. The resort in general was tired and only minimally maintained and furnished.

The location is awesome The waves give you music to relax to The upstairs balcony is very lovely to enjoy the sunset from plus take advantage of the breezes

Beautiful beach front with a pool. Very clean and quiet with a great breakfast.
