We loved our visit to the Huntress Suite. The aprtment is well planned out and the decor is beautiful. The location is perfect, being very quiet but only a 2 minute walk to pubs, restaurants.

Nothing - it was perfect

We are really happy we chose to stay here over the other options. The owners/hosts provided good guides ahead of time, and seemed like they would be approachable for any questions/issues. This apartment itself was the perfect base for a stay in the Peak District, while it was also located perfectly for exploring Buxton by foot. It was really cosy and comfortable, and the perfect size for two, containing all the amenities you could expect. The bed was really comfy and the sheets were great quality. The interior was also decorated beautifully, with obvious care taken in selecting the furniture and furnishings, creating a modern living space sensitive to the period features. The Christmas decorations and a peacock themed tree were a lovely touch also.

Very little. The only downsides were minor - a neighbor's door badly needs to be oiled as it is very squeaky (and often used) when we were in the living room, but doubtful that the hosts could do little to resolve this. It was also a little difficult to figure out how exactly to position the car when parking from the instructions.

Excellent bolt hole for a break. Very tasteful apartment in a lovely old house with excellent facilities and in a wonderful location for the heritage area of Buxton. Less than 5 minutes walk from the Opera House, for example.

The accommodation was second to none. It was very well located for Buxton town centre, and all that it had to offer. Other locations, eg: Chatsworth House, was within easy driving distance. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. The apartment was very well laid out, and beautifully decorated.

The only thing I thought that was slightly lacking, maybe because it was November and dark nights, I thought another table lamp in the lounge would have been appreciated, as it was a little dark.

We liked everything about the apartment we loved the style we had everything we could have needed. The lovely big bed was so comfortable . The location was excellent a perfect base to get to lots of other beautiful locations.

Location. Easy walk to centre of Buxton yet very quiet. Very clean and interestingly furnished to a high standard.

Initially a bit surprised at the amount of work being done on adjacent empty buildings but this did not detract from quality of apartment and furnishings.

The Huntress Suites is a gem! The hosts have been so attentive and have presented the property beautifully. It's location is perfect..just a short stroll to the centre of town. There is also onsite parking. We found it a perfect place to relax and unwind. Spent a while looking at the squirrels in the tree top through the bedroom window too!
