Central Train Station comfy

Very helpful and friendly host. Wonderful location. Precise instructions. Great for large groups. Huuuge balcony perfect for summer nights out.

The host has thoght for everything we needed for stay in this apartment. The details were important. Thanks for the good organization on the getting the kays and on the accommodation. The location was as we expected - 10 minutes walk to the downtown, 20 to the old city. A supermarket very close to the appartment.

I can't I remember something that was below my expectation.

Spacious and comfortable apartment, great for big families or a group of friends etc

The property is exactly as it looks in the pictures, very big and a bit dated. Location is great, very close to the train station and the bus stop for buses to Matera and Alberobello. It was well priced and because of its size, it is a great choice for a group of friends or a family. Very easy to communicate with the host.

Cleanliness should be improved. The building is old so there is little sound proofing with the next door apartments but it can easily be solved with earplugs. Mattresses and bed frame are a bit uncomfortable. It was very basic in terms of pots and pans for cooking, though it had olive oil, salt and coffee.

Terraces and sunshine

Interaction with owner. Original description when we booked in January which has now been changed, was headed with "the hot tub is the outstanding feature of this apartment.(which had a strong influence on our choosing it)....2 bathrooms with a bath and shower" it was very well equipped but no hot tub. Response from owner when we queried the absence of the hot tub, was that the hot tub was in the 2nd bathroom so he claims he meant the bath tub, which we thought was bizarre as across Europe, a hot tub is clearly different from a bath tub. He could have just apologised that it was not now available which would have been fine. I had been communicating with him by WhatsApp and he exited the group at that point which we thought was quite rude! The next communication from him was through booking.com email on the last day about checking out etc. So great apartment, great location but misleading description and unsatisfactory interaction with owner to explain lack of hot tub.

The owner of the flat was very helpful. He even helped us to find the right train to Matera.

Pleasant and helpful staff, excellent location, quiet neighborhood, spacious apartment, two bathrooms. All recommendations.

The place was big enough for 4 people and the location was extremely handy in visiting Bari and the surroundings.

The Wi-Fi speed was slow and we had difficulty working and having meetings over Zoom. A faster internet connection will make everything better.
