Booked a double room accommodation with 2 beds and the owner forgot the reservation and came with a solution for a one bed with an extendable armchair. For one night this solution was sufficient.

The decoration is a little old-fashioned

Loved it. We needed accommodation as close to the train station as possible ( because the reason we went on this trip was to take the train on a sight seeing trip through the Jiului Defile ). The location of the house was a bit...let's say, different :) ( under a bridge, basically ), but for what we needed it was awesome. Don't expect to have beautiful sights here. All the windows are towards the interior, on the ground level at least. The place itself also had a bar ( closed, as it was out of season when we went there, but it wasn't a problem ) and a lovely garden, barbeque and neatly trimmed lawn. We were surprised to find that our accommodation consisted in 2 rooms which were linked together. One had a bed, and the other a couch. The kids were thrilled because they could run around in between the rooms ( which they did. A lot ). The room also had the fridge, 2 TVs, lamps, night tables, a wardrobe, a coat hanger and a luggage hanger. I must say that the bed was very comfy. They have centralized heating at the location, and the lady that acted as an in-keeper gave us the thermostat gladly. I must note that everything was sparkling clean. Although the decoration style isn't what I personally like, I must say that whoever did it put a lot of effort and attention to detail. And once again, everything was very clean, so the owners took care of their investment. For 144 lei per night it was the bang for the buck. We ordered food from Anna Delivery ( which we highly recommend, btw ) and the parking was inside their courtyard. 2 words of caution 1. If you have a car with low ground clearance, be very careful when parking inside, as it has a slope. 2. If you come with kids and/or pets, tell the in-keeper before your arrival. We didn't and when we got there, she said that we are in luck that the room(s) that we stayed in were not taken already.

It was a little cold, due to the fact that the room was big and I think the heaters where started that day.
