Fiesta Inn Tuxtla Gutierrez

The hotel was clean, airy, vibrant and as expected of a 4 star hotel. The staff were pleasant and helpful although did not speak any English so we had to use google translate. The bed and bedding very good quality and comfortable. Loved the separate shower area and toilet. We had upgraded to a bigger superior room and this was a great size with a sofa and coffee table. There was a coffee maker in the room with 2 sachets replaced daily. Impressed there was a suitcase holder as these are becoming rare in hotels nowadays The location was great, just a few minutes walk for local eateries.

Breakfast could be hit and miss depending on how busy it was. There was a large party in one morning so we were pretty much ignored by the staff. it would have nice to be able to refill our own coffee rather than waiting for staff. There were not English Breakfast Tea which would be nice. We never found the swimming pool. Apparently we were told on our last day it was on the roof so some information would have been good. The coffee table disappeared from our room one day and when we went to enquire where it was we were told the leg was broken - which it definitely wasn't when we left for the day. We had to insist on it back as we were told it would be at least a day without it. As we needed facilities to work we asked for a chair for the desk as there wasn't one and a chair was brought to our room that didn't rise high enough to reach. All in all this was a bit poor as we needed these facilities and had booked the room specifically with the extra facilities and had to insist we had them.

The location and they had a really nice parking lot. Also they aloud me to stay with my pet yet they restricted me access to just about everything in the property because my dog.

They change the price of the room It cost me what more than what booking show me. Plus they charge me 900 pesos for my dog stay. They mention that it was display in booking and it was not. It cost me twice as much my stay. I will not considering again.

A little bit old, didn’t explore hotel much, just slept 1 night. The room was clean. Great staff, especially Abel from the reception, everyone very kind, provided excursion for me last minute because I arrived late, also taxi to the airport.

The charge for the dogs is ridiculous. In the room we had coffee machine with coffee. No mugs or sweetener so couldn’t have a drink. Only 1 small bottle .we did request more but never arrived. The food in the restaurant is not very good either for the price.

very nice hotel in Tuxtla in a more modern part of the city , around 2 km from the centre, nice rooms with big windows, nice and big bathroom, good beds, nice and big swimming pool

the swimming pool area looked a bit deserted, with not too many towels to use or the sundecks

The staff were friendly, they let me bring my bike into the room (I was visiting town for a cycling race). The staff let me change rooms because there was a loud party going on on one side of the building.

Tuxtla is HOT! The A.C thermostat in both of the rooms did not work properly. In one room the screen wasn't visible, so you couldn't tell what temperature you were setting. In the other the AC would keep running past the set temperature. No hand controller in either room. The pillows were VERY uncomfortable and the towels were ROUGH. The restaurant food was absolutely HORRIBLE and pricey, and the staff there kept ignoring me even though mine was the only table.
