Nice room in the outskirts of Subotica. Very quiet neighborhood. The room and the bathroom are clean and the host is very nice. The host actually prefers you to pay in euro, but payment in Dinar is also possible. The host speaks English, besides of course Serbian and Hungarian. There is a common garden. WiFi works excellent. The bed is comfortable. Little supermarket is in walking distance. However for exchange money, cafe, restaurant, big supermarkets you need to go to the center. Walking will take you more then one hour (6.5 kilometers). There is however a citybus 3 running every 40-60 minutes from 5:00-22:00 hours. A ticket for the bus 120 dinar, pay in cash at the driver. From the railwaystation: walk direction postoffice to the Maksima Gorgog / Segedinski Put to the busstop Nova Opcina (close to the tunnel under the railway). Wait for bus 3 direction Makova Sedmica. Get out at the stop Slovinov Put (one stop before terminus). From busstation walk direction center/trainstation at the Sencanski put 800 meters to Maksima Gorgog/Segedinski Put, same busstop Nova Opcina. Bus 3. Inside the busstation you can eat cheap with a set meal at 'Kantina'. Around 600 dinars for a meal. Not open sunday.

I liked everything, but maybe if you could rent bicycles it would be even better, as busses only go every 40 minutes.

I just stayed here for one night - near the Hungarian border. I park the bike in the garage. The smaller bed has a harder mattress, which I like. There's an equipped kitchen. As a wet motorcyclist, I appreciated the hospitality of the hosts (rakija).

Quiet neighborhood little garden with nice sitting area, very nice coupe of owners, garrage for motorbike and a matress in my bed helped me sleep like baby
