The Cabin

Perfect place to base our trip to nearby Mount Cook. The room was cozy with everything needed for a short stay. Great communication from host.

Very nice and stylish small log cabin which was well equipped, including above average quality of the toiletries. A very nice touch by providing two bottles of water and a bottle of milk. A private small courtyard was pleasantly landscaped. Easy check in.

Beautiful, comfortable and warm.

The Cabin was a little oasis after spending the whole day exploring Aoraki. The space is small but very cosy, comfortable and very well designed. We love the wooden vibes and the setup to prepare food and sandwiches. The outdoor area was nice too but we did not stay long enough to enjoy it.

The space can be a little cramped if you have many suitcases and bags. And no storage space.

Ein wunderschönes kleines Blockhaus, in dem man sich vom ersten Moment an rundum wohlfühlt. Alles ist makellos sauber und duftet herrlich nach frischer Wäsche – ein Detail, das sofort ein Zuhause-Gefühl vermittelt. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt durchdacht, es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Die Lage ist ideal als Ausgangspunkt für den Mount Cook Nationalpark, und gleichzeitig gibt es im Ort alles, was man braucht. Besonders begeistert hat uns die tolle Außenterrasse, auf der man wunderbar entspannen kann. Nach fünf Tagen fiel uns der Abschied richtig schwer – einfach ein Ort zum Genießen.

Beautiful cabin, was perfect for my fiancé and i, beautiful outdoor area where we were able to cook our dinner and breakfast on our cooker. Turned up and the heat pump was on for us, was very clean and tidy. A very well done cabin hat off to the owner. would highly recommend for a couple wanting a little get away. will definitely be visiting again!!

Beautiful cabin with nice little seating area outside, looks new and tastefully done. Instructions from host and check in was very easy. Well thought out unit with everything we needed and very clean and comfortable. Quite and private. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
