Merzouga luxury desert camps

I loved how clean the camp was and the staff were very friendly and their hospitality was great.

The only concern would be that the food would often be undercooked and there’s some hidden fees.

Pros: The driver pick-up was fast and easy, making the arrival process smooth. The room met the promised high standards, providing a comfortable and pleasant stay. Both the evening meal and breakfast were enjoyable, and the evening entertainment added to the overall experience.

Cons: The check-in process was confusing and disorganized, which made the arrival less welcoming. When we tried to inquire about activities, the staff interrupted our discussion to assist someone else, which felt dismissive. It took two attempts to request an activity as there was no clear program or schedule in place. We were not informed about meal times or given any explanation about the evening entertainment, leaving us uncertain about the schedule. Dinner service felt chaotic, with the staff appearing unprepared. Furthermore, after canceling an activity due to illness and notifying reception, someone still came to pick us up half an hour later, demonstrating poor communication among the staff.

The staff and location are perfect

All was fantastic.

The location was just perfect. Nestled among the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, of all the desert camps we saw when doing activities. Merzouga Luxury Desert Camps had the very best location. The staff went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay in the Sahara Desert. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they answered our every question. They were extremely polite, welcoming and kind and made our stay memorable. All the activities we wanted to do such as camel trekking and Quad biking were right there at our finger tips and organised by the staff whenever we requested something. The camp was so peaceful and the ambience in the desert was surreal. I would recommend a two night stay so you don’t have to rush away and can enjoy the peace and quiet of the desert in a leisurely way.

The food and service is top notch. Perfect location and an amazing view. We were thrilled and very impressed with the camps.

Beautiful camp , very nice staff. We loved the camel ride.

Amazing camel ride through the dunes and sitting on a dune watching the sunset before riding down to the camp. There are several camps next to each other, so when there are few guests they place all the guests in the same camp (that's why there are different interiors in the photos). Greeted with tea and cookies, and our luggage was there waiting for us. Good dinner, and bonfire with music afterward. Amazing staff.

Amazing desert camp stay. Attentive staff, lots of things to do and great food and entertainment in the evening. The tents are like hotel rooms and great to stay in. Highly recommended.

A very luxurious camp ground, sleeping in a big tent that has everything was a special experience. Being able to look at the stars was a great experience .
