Stay Gaon

- good Location for BIFF, Songdo, Jagalchi, next to markets and a mall - very friendly and helpful staff - the shared kitchen is great!! - clean - pls make an english translation for the AC :)

Clean, comfortable, cute. Great view of the harbor in the lounge, it was beautiful. Free snacks and water in the lounge, with access to coffee and microwave, fridge, etc. Regarding location, it is very convenient in the Nampo area next to a huge Lotte mall, so it has super easy access to the train station and multiple buses- however, note that it is not centrally located such as in Seomyeon, so getting to northeast Busan like north of Haeundae Beach is a bit of a trek (over 90 min multiple train/bus transfers). That being said, we were still able to get to Haeundae beach and Centum City Spa Land fairly easily with a transfer (about 40-50 min train). Very easy to get to Hunniyeon Culture Village and Songdo Beach (about 20 min bus). Also it is very conveniently located directly above a 7-eleven and coffee shop!

None of these are bad, but just fyi for future guests: no stove, or bathtub. There is a laundry room, but not for guests. Also we get access to netflix but it is child friendly netflix only, so you can’t watch many shows.

Very close to the MRT station, Lotte Department Store and supermarket are also within a 5-minute walk. It has a sea view and a lounge, providing milk, cereal, juice and mineral water.

This is my first time checking-in remotely. But the information given prior to arrival was very clear and detailed. I did not have any problem getting to this propety. Gaon really makes me feel at home. It is safe, quiet, clean, pleasant, bright and cheery. The pantry has a wonderful view over the harbour and it has drinks and snacks for guests. Although I didn't get to see a staff member (except for the housekeeping lady), the communication through Booking.com chat was efficient. Hope to stay over again when I return to Busan!

Location was great, close to the subway and the Lotte Mall nearby was walking distance. It was easy to get to attractions like Songdo beach. The guesthouse lounge was great and the free water/snacks was a huge plus point.

The toilets are a little small and would have been better if there were more hooks/hangers for us to hang our towels/clothes (there was only 1 rack above the toilet bowl which was abit hard to reach). Pillows were also kind of flat and we didn't know where to get extra ones.

The room facilities were good. Near the beach. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning is decent.

My booking notes I get a city view. The view is in fact of the adjacent block, and therefore the advertisement was false and misleading. (Photo attached) The cleaning job was also insufficient (photos attached). The parking situation was also not ideal. There were no parks available so we had to use public parking instead for our cat. The park has tight spaces and drivers flood in, making it hard to leave especially on busy days.

My experience was that it was very easy to find the hotel, and I had no problems getting into the hotel. The instructions they had given me beforehand were very detailed and made it a comfortable check in. The lounge facilities with free snacks and drinks was very convenient! The staff was very helpful and easy to chat to. Their laundry service was free of charge, and they gave great instructions on how to use it.

The sink on my bathroom had a leak that made water stream out of the bottom of the water tap. It had left a little rust which made it seem a little dirty, but it didn’t make my stay any less pleasant!

There was no staff, communication possible only via messages. The room was small.
