The location of Riad Mama is ideal , less than a 2 minute walk to the bustling main square Jemaa el-Fnaa. From here you can explore the Souks and soak in the vibrancy of the City . A lot of walking tours set off from here also. Though you are in the heart of the city , the Riad itself is a calm oasis. The hospitality we received from both Hassan & Nour was exceptional , we felt very welcome . Thank you both . My advice would be to book your transfer through Riad Mama as Hassan met us at the drop off point and brought us to the Riad . Trying to locate it yourself would be challenging! Our room , number 4 , was clean and comfortable , a hairdryer is supplied. A continental Breakfast each morning was served on the rooftop by Hassan , his Moroccan Tea is fantastic ! If you are looking for a Riad experience in the perfect location , then Riad Mama is for you . Both the Staff and the Riad made our trip unforgettable.

La colazione veniva servita nella splendida terrazza con vista su Marrakech, terrazza che potevamo liberamente usare anche la sera portandoci da mangiare e da bere quello che compravamo fuori dal Riad. Abbiamo soggiornato in due camere, la seconda molto grande. Tutto lo staff molto disponibile. Ci siamo appoggiati al Riad per organizzare un tour nel deserto con due notti fuori, l'albergo della prima notte e la tenda del deserto erano carine e corrispondevano alle nostre richieste; la macchina che ci ha accompagnato era molto comoda e il nostro autista perfetto alla guida, discreto e disponibile.

Nulla in particolare, siamo stati molto bene, considerando rapporto qualità/prezzo

Manque un petite bouilloire avec des sachets de thé, café etc… salle de bain trop petite. Petit déjeuner aléatoire suivant les jours et beurre rance sauf s’il s’agit d’un goût local.

Riad Mama in posizione centrale ma tranquila, ottima per visitare la città. Colazione abbondante e molto buona. Personale gentilissimo e sempre disponibile. Lo consiglio a tutti

Riad Mama is a small traditional hotel, in a very good location near the main square, Jamaa El Fna, many souks and other interesting sights. My room was very quiet, on the first floor and had a sitting area outside it. Breakfast, served on the open air roof terrace, was generous and varied - with different combinations of traditional breads, eggs, fruit, yogurt. I always opted for the delicious mint tea without sugar. The room benefitted from an air conditioner which I used for its heating rather than cooling. The reception staff were always helpful and friendly. At my request, Riad Mama organised an excellent English speaking guide for a 3 hour walking tour on my first morning, a good way to get my bearings.

I had booked a double bedded room, but given the size of the bed within the room (Room 3), free space was limited. Two people or a couple in the room would be pretty cramped.
