Porto Rotondo Central House

The location was excellent. The rooftop is a wonderful addition. The unit was cool with several a/c units. People were so friendly and food, market, and stores just downstairs.

Comfortable, clean apartment with nice roof terrace. Centrally located in the town & a short walk from the marina. Although centrally located, not too noisy. Owner responded quickly to messages.

Think the apartment is more suitable for adults / older children as do not think the spiral staircase to the roof terrace would be suitable for smaller children. The apartment was still being cleaned when we arrived which delayed us an hour. Not met at the apartment although description said we would be. Sun loungers on roof terrace need replacing. Some local info./booklets would have been nice (as has been the case at other rentals).

Great location. Porto Rotondo was beautiful, much nicer than some of the other coastal towns we visited. Great size. Simple, clean style. Loved the roof terrace

Disappointing and completely unprofessional host. Not responsive. No instructions given whatsoever The first night wifi did not work, so as microwave. We were NOT given blankets in winter. It was cold. We called the host, which never picked up the phone until the next day at midday. The heating system did not work in one of the bedrooms We had to leave the apartment the middle of the night as it was too cold and the host did not even reply to calls or messages. We had to find another accommodation and pay for it for the first night. We went through a lot of stress, missed sleep and lost money that WAS NEVER REIMBURSED, despite the promises. They NEVER even apologised and realised that we had to pay for their apartment and look for an alternative accommodation in the meanwhile. We tried to reach out to the host uncountable times, they rarely picked up the phone or replied. They promised several time a partial (insufficient) reimbursement that NEVER CAME. Absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL, honesty unfortunately not at the barely minimum. Should you choose this property I wish you good luck.

Location was superb. The rooftop was the icing on the cake for watching the sunset

A working washing machine and oven would would have made this a 10/10. Other than that... no faults

From the 2 smaller rooms you could hear the fans from the restaurant below, even with the windows closed. It was a chore to find a free parking spot, and I lost at least 2 hrs combined both days trying to pay the blue area parking spot. The parkometer was out of service, from the 12 people I have asked the only one who almost solved my problem indicated an app which did not accept Revolut debit cards. Cherry on the cake: in the last day, when I finally met my host face to face, I found out that in September no one checks the paid parking areas. The communication with the host was extremely difficult, mainly through WhatsApp audio recordings which were almost incomprehensible. There were no garbage bags in the apartment so we bought some ourselves.
