Giorgia House Boat

We were staying for 4 nights (3 people) and it was perfect for that amount of people. Giorgia is a very nice, helpful host. She gave us restaurants recommendations, stayed in touch with us during our stay and even left a bottle of wine, great service! The location is perfect- it is right in the heart of the city, very close to some historical sights and churches, bus station, restaurants and cafes, a supermarket. The boat was very clean, well organised, there was everything one may need, including a coffee machine, fridge, kitchen supplies, etc, and we enjoyed both terraces, there is one on the roof as well. We stayed in winter time but Palermo doesn't get very cold and the owner provided small heaters that did a good job and we were warm during our stay. The water in the shower was very warm. In the night it was quiet, but in the port there is a fountain with water music shows every hour until 11PM so if you have very young kids or wish to go to sleep before that time, it is worth taking it into account. Overally, it was a unique and nice accomodation, definitely worth to choose it over more traditional forms.

The WiFi didn't work. The bed outside of the bedroom may be a bit too small for a tall person. There is little storage space, but this is normal for the boat.

The boat was perfect. A change from the usual hotels and in a beautiful marina.

Perfecto for two people, fits also 4 people but might get a little tight if you stay longer than one or two nights. But totally fine for one night.

Hosts very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at a Boat. Definitely recommend. Different experience than staying in a Hotel. Boat is equipped with everything you need. Bottle of wine on arrival was extra 🤗

Great location. Fantastic view. Huge yacht, everything is just super. Very nice and helpful hosts, service at the highest level. Highly recommended
