The bathroom

The door was very difficult to open both in and out of the property. We hear the lock inside click, but it doesn’t open. We had people staring at us from inside their houses. It was an embarrassing experience. Hauling our large luggage’s up the small and windy staircase was difficult. Particularly for anyone staying at the top floor. The rooms are very hot. There are no air-conditioners on either room, and the fans are insufficient ventilators. Opening the windows risked bugs entering the property. We opened the window in the first bedroom, and it was still very hot. Due to these factors, we didn’t stay the night and ended up booking at one of the hotels. Nobody was comfortable, especially since we were in Christchurch to celebrate my birthday. Sometimes, cheap just means cheap, and doesn’t necessarily mean quality. We paid for what we deserved.

Property was great! Nice and close to everything.

We did have issues with the door lock it was very complicated to open lol.

Stairs too steep and narrow

Close to town and separate bathrooms for each room.

Climbing stairs.

It was modern, clean there was only street parking

There was a lot of noise from local bars

Spacious, Clean & easy access to Christchurch city.
