Azure Beach Villas

I liked the layout of the villa, it was very clean, it had good facilities. Any issues we had were resolved in a timely manner.

The area is very rural. We were woken up each morning by a lovely rooster at 4.30am. We went in April so it was off peak so there was nothing in the area open to get supplies or to go out to eat. You would definitely need a car to go to the shops or to eat out which is something we did not know before we went. We ended up using a local transfer company to pick us up and bring us into Kissamos. It was €20 each way. There was also construction going on across the road and right beside the villa so it was hard to relax beside the pool with a cement truck parked along the wall of the pool. I was told before we went that I would be set up on two apps in order to get takeout delivered but when I arrived the lady in reception had no idea what I was talking about. She did however help me find a restaurant that would deliver that evening from the nearest town of Kissamos. The beach across the way is very rocky to access but nice for a walk. There is a small shop about 1.3km walk from the villa down country roads with no pavements but some lovely olive groves on either side. Overall I found everyone super friendly and helpful. I would definitely return to Greece but maybe book somewhere a little less remote.

Beliggenheten var for oss helt perfekt. Rolig og stille område, akkurat slik vi ønsket det. Vi leide leilighet med to soverom. Vi var der i månedsskiftet mars/april og det var få gjester på området. Nyttig å ha egen bil. Stedet var også supert med tanke på turer/trimturer i nærområdet, både på stier og langs landeveien. Vi leide el-sykler i Kissamos for å oppleve Balos-lagunen. Siden vi var der såpass tidlig i sesongen, var været noe ustabilt, men til tross for dette fikk vi mange gode opplevelser. Ca. 25 min med bil til Chania og 7 minutter inn til Kissamos.

Huset var veldig kaldt de først dagene vi oppholdt oss der, til tross for at vi satte på alle tre varmepumpene. Bra vi hadde med oss ulltøy 😉

Ça aurait été appréciable de trouver sur place des produits et petits gestes pouvant faciliter le séjour pour les touristes qui viennent de loins et pour des périodes généralement courte tels: liquide vaisselle, liquide lessive, sel , sucre …

Villette dotate di tutti i confort, parcheggio abbastanza capiente, pulizia top, piscina piccola ma pulita che abbraccia 3 villette, posizione ottima per raggiungere Elafonissi, Balos e Falassarna.
