New Forest Cottage

Amazing property, great location for the area we wanted to visit. Would recommend this property.

Good sized property, very comfortable, good location 5 min walk to the centre of Lyndhurst.

Kitchen equipment could do with some upgrading - sharper knives, scissors.

Lovely property, ideal for a family stay. Well equipped kitchen and beds very comfortable, we had everything we needed for our stay. The welcome bottle of fizz and biscuits, were much appreciated. The location is great with a short stroll to the village and the open forest at the top of the road. Plenty of pubs, and a couple of takeaways, in the village. Had a lovely meal on Christmas eve at the Italian restaurant, 5 minutes walk away. The whole family 3 generations! Had a wonderful Christmas stay, with a visit to Harold Hilllier Gardens for the light trail on Christmas Eve and a day at Beaulieu on Boxing Day. Looking to book again during the summer :)

The house could have been decorated a bit more for Christmas, maybe with the addition of a tree? We did take our own decorations and soon made it look festive.

Location was excellent for our needs. Property was spacious and family friendly.

Property needs a really thorough clean. Some kitchen bowls, plates and cups need replacing as they looked glazed and tarnished. Sink bowl needs replacing as does some of the cooking implements. Really didn't appreciate having to clear previous holiday makers rubbish from bins. In our opinion stripping the beds at the end of our stay shouldn't be our responsibility. Garden could do with tidying up.

This was perfect for 5 ladies and near New Park loved the location, it was so comfortable and having a kitchen and dining room made things easy at meal times lounge with the two three seater settees, 2 bathroom so we did not clash, with the extra loo Downstairs, beds very comfortable, Trying to find the cottage on booking .com to book for next year The only downside is parking as it's on the road and with 4 cars finding spaces near the house was hard only a small issue, overall it was perfect for what we wanted and better than a hotel .

There is nothing wrong with the property.
