Lovely Victorian Apartment in Clifton Village

The website for additional payments (like the deposit or parking fee) was horrible and first even felt like a scam. The website takes multiple minutes to load and one time, the payment was deducted from my card but wasn't received by the people from the apartment. This was solved and in the end we did not pay too much, but another website would have been appreciated.

Excellent location! So near to Clifton Village, just a few steps away. Nearest bus stop is right on top Victoria Square (took bus No. 8 direct from Temple Meads train station). Also a few steps away from the Victoria Rooms and top of Queens Road. We chose this apartment because it is located right opposite Christchurch Primary School which was our daughters old school so it was nostalgic :) Apartment is very clean, very cosy, and very pretty. Kitchen is well equipped, although we did not have time to cook :) Beautiful good morning sunlight come in through the front hall & kitchen windows.

Absolutely nothing!

pretty grubby to be honest especially since the cleaning fee is £75!!!! very dusty mouldy etc kitchen equipment level very poor not actually possible to make a meal due to very basic level of mainly plastic equipment, few plates cups glasses - I was there alone , place advertised for 4 people! no tea or coffee maker broken tin opener

I stayed there over NYE with friends. On the day we dropped our bags off and went out for the evening. On our return we realised that the toilet was broken (unable to flush). I instantly contacted the property management in the morning, they sent someone to fix it but was unable to. We were informed to use the kitchen kettle to fill up the toilet tank in order to be able to use the toilet. This was extremely uncomfortable and the property should not have been rented out without a working toilet. We went to the nearby Primrose Cafe (highly recommend this cafe) to use their bathroom. When I contacted the property management to ask for a refund to be compensated, they only provided me with £37.50 which is 50% of the cleaning fee. That is absurd that we paid £340 to stay at a property without a working toilet. Utterly disgraceful behaviour. I do not recommend staying here. If you do decide to stay, do ask them prior if the toilet is in working order.

Location was fabulous. Walkable distance to Clifton Village, Cabot's Tower, Bristol Museum. Easy check-in. Quiet area. Very clean presentation.

Kitchen was a little cramped but functional use of space. Mattresses were soft, but my family of 5 all like firm mattresses.
