GBGBThe peaceful location. The accommodation was spacious , clean and well appointed. The Glasshouse Inn provided a place to enjoy high quality food. Sadly only open 3 days a week Only 3 miles from Newent, with Ledbury and Ross-on-Wye within a short drive. A wonderful place to relax. Unexpectedly more living space than we expected, which was a lovely bonus!
We would have appreciated a small starter pack of milk in particular for use on our arrival. There was a lack of instructions regarding what was expected of us when departing. e.g what to do with our rubbish. Also, the bath and shower need mats. We have already experienced an accident when using a bath without one that resulted in broken ribs at another accommodation. So we were anxious about using them.

Bed a bit hard, quilt was too thin, struggled to get in to the pub for a meal as didn't know we had to book well in advance
GBThis is a beautiful spacious lodge which was immaculate and very comfortable and has everything you need including walk in wardrobes. It’s set in a lovely location which is peaceful and quiet. The pub next to it is fabulous and the service and food was fantastic. It does get busy in the evenings so I would suggest if you want to eat later then make a reservation, we ate around 6pm and managed to get a table.
GBGBModern and cosy. Well appointed and warm. Good location next to the pub and great for local walks and easy access to Gloucester and Ross. Forest of Dean right there too.
Duvets were a little thin for us but that’s just a personal thing.
