USOur room "The George" was very nice. Large room and bathroom. Bed was comfortable.
There was no staff. If you needed anything I guess you emailed the person on the conformation. It was very strange to have no one there. It is an old house, so you can hear your fellow travers in their rooms.
USUSWe didn't have breakfast,; we needed to leave early morning. The location was great for visiting Springfield & our room was perfect; very clean, comfortable, and lovely furnishings. We loved the bathroom, too! Great shower, unfortunately not enough time to try the jacuzzi tub. Next time. We live in an urban setting, and the peacefulness of the room and the pretty grounds was just what we needed.
Not having a place to store our luggage before check in time. We traveled by Amtrak and needed to keep our luggage with us, not ideal.

USAwesome stay - the building is awesome if you into that sort of thing (old, beautiful, cozy etc). Very clean, staff is nice.
Can’t really complain much about it as the building is old. However, the stairs are steep and narrow - not easy to bring luggage in/out.

USVery comfortable. Every thing you need, small fridge, coffee and coffee pot, fluffy towels and great water pressure. Great location to the Lincoln museum and the Historic home site.
There’s not a thing I didn’t like I was very comfortable. A box of Kleenex would be nice.
