"We are already planning a return visit!"

9.0

Loved how close it was to the beach. Nice pub/restaurant on site. Little shop was perfect for the odd few bits. Lodge was lovely. Nice decor. Felt homely. Hosts via text were friendly and welcoming. First time we hadnt been charged extra to take a dog!

The boiler seemed very noisy. Couldnt have it on over night as I am a very light sleeper.

"Superb"

Liked the atmosphere & where the property was situated. It was good to know Anthony was at the end of the phone if there was any problems.

Would have been nice if the grass was cut at the back of the property.

"We would return if the cleaning issues and maintenance repairs were carried out."

7.0

The location is quiet. We had an immediate response when we had an issue with the bi-fold door as it wouldn’t lock.

The kitchen was poorly equipped with glassware only 2 odd differently shaped wine glasses and no champagne flutes. Compared to other properties we have stayed in at the Bay the crockery and utensils were sparse. The cleaning routine obviously is insufficient especially post Covid. The sinks were stained and the skirting, kitchen cupboard doors /tops, walls and doors hadn’t been wiped for some time. In my opinion it needs a deep thorough cleaning and regularly attention thereafter. The bed linen was clean and fresh as were the towels. The walk in shower needs attention there was a lot of black mould that’s needs removing and the base of the wooden door frame in the en suite is completely rotten.
