L’emplacement est super, la taille des chambres correcte, la propreté et le onsen public.

Le prix nous paraît assez élevé, et nous vous conseillons de revérifier à votre check in les horaires pour l’onsen privatif car nous nous sommes fait prendre notre créneau par d’autres clients.

The traditional japanese room was beautiful and very comfortable. Our futton were ready from the moment we entered the room. Smelled amazing, and everything was pristine clean. Breakfast was incredible, had a blast discovering everything they served us. Our room had a massage chair that was a very nice touch, we used it twice each, very nice surprise. There's a shuttle service to the bus station which was very helpful as well.

Couldn't use the public onsen due to torso tattoo's but there was a private alternative for a small price, very nice.

Non è una critica, ma solo un avviso per chi soffre di mal di schiena: il letto giapponese, bellissimo, in questa struttura è originale e quindi un po’ duro. Magari si può chiedere di usare due materassi, ma comunque la struttura per me è da 10

The hotel restaurant is amazing! I would highly recommend you get breakfast and dinner, if only for the fact that other restaurants tend to open late and close early. The onsen area was large and fairly empty on the weekdays and there is a private option you can book. The tatami room was very spacious and comfortable, though older. The location is very convenient to the shrines.

The onsens did not seem the cleanest. You have to schedule breakfast and dinner so it can feel a bit rushed. The hotel is located up a fairly big hill. With snow, this hill is a bit slippery and I almost fell going up and down. If you are mobility disabled, it may be a bit difficult to reach the hotel. The hotel itself does have an elevator, but the onsen can only be reached by a few stairs down and up with some uneven ground.

It is in a great location in town, right near the temples and Main Street but set bad enough so you feel secluded.

I did not find the staff particularly welcoming. I had stayed at a ryokan before but my mother had not. They did not explain any customs, when we should be wearing yukata, what we were eating with the traditional meals each night. Additionally, we had 3 traditional meals at the facility and the first and second night the amount of heavy meals involving large quantities of beef was honestly absurd. I am used to much lighter courses for a set meal like this and it was hard to eat almost 6 -8 oz of beef and then have that followed by tempura.

The breakfast was Incredible

The traditional feel and location are excellent.

The spa area could have been a little bigger.

Good location and lovely onsen. Breakfast was great.

On the more expensive side for what you get especially with no bathroom
