This is a very clean, comfortable apartment with everything you need. It's a great location inside the city walls in Lucca.

Mari had thought of everything we might need including g information on Lucca, tea and coffee, shampoo etc. it really felt like she cared about her guests having a good stay!

We spent 3 lovely nights at Mari's apartment in Lucca. It is a 10-minute walk from the railway station and Mari was on the doorstep to meet us and explain the apartment. It is spacious, light and immaculately clean. Although the weather was too cold to spend time in the courtyard, it was nice to have the courtyard view from the kitchen and dining area. The bed was very comfortable with good quality sheets and towels. The location is superb - an easy walk to everything. Mari was super helpful, sending links to performances scheduled in Lucca during our visit. We hope to visit Lucca again one day and if we do we will certainly stay at Mari's. Grazie.

It’s clean, comfortable, and has a well equipped kitchen. The location is great, too. Walk out the door and you’re literally seconds from one of the entrances to the unique and wonderful park atop the ancient wall around the city. There’s a bike rental two doors down, and riding the park on the wall is a wonderful way to see the city. Nothing in the old city is too far to walk to, and there are lots of great places to eat and shop, plus things like the concert of Puccini and Mozart arias we attended in one of the churches, and interesting walking tours. The hosts, Mari and Francesco, were warm and friendly and very informative and responsive. We highly recommend it!

Location is excellent, easy walking distance to all attractions and bus & train stations. I was traveling alone for 14 nights and the apartment was perfect for my stay. Kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking and the small terrace is private, so very nice for morning coffee or a nightcap before bed. Just be sure to bring your mosquito repellent! Mari was a wonderful host, very easy to communicate with and full of suggestions for local restaurants and events. Next time I am in Lucca I will look to stay here first.

The apartment does not have air-conditioning. For me this was not a problem, there is a fan and mosquito nets on the windows so they can be left open at night. But may be uncomfortable for some. Other than that everything was perfect!
