Emilia Suite Green

The house is wonderful!! Our group loved staying here, it was a great place to spend our night in Modena - comfortable, clean, beautiful & awesome position. 10/10 recommend

BEWARE! This apartment is NOT in the old center of Modena, even if the map might show it as such - in reality, it is 2.7km (~2 mi) away!! When we pointed out this shocking discrepancy to Emilia Suite, they did not apologize nor offer to correct the location displayed - future reservations were still showing the incorrect, central location as of 10/18/24 - which made us think they either purposely lied about the location, or at least wilfully and negligently failed to correct any map glitch. Stay away from all the Emilia Suite-managed properties in Modena - throughout this falsified location ordeal, they were rude, unhelpful and purposely delaying their responses to run out the clock before our check-in. After much back-and-forth (and more lies re: availability), they agreed to move us to a different, centrally located apartment, but refused to refund the sizeable difference. That new apartment in via Nazario Sauro 44 was absolutely horrible, old and dated (online photos seem to be from a decade ago), tiny (we had trouble finding floor space to open two suicases), and dirty (I'll spare you the photos). Modena doesn't have a lot of lodging options, but anything is better than Emilia Suite. If you don't want to ruin your Italy vacation, please avoid!

Not much

A constant loud central air con system was horrible for sleeping - noisy and dry air. NO instructions for non Italian visitors, many small things not available, kitchen very poorly equipped (eg pots that would not work on induction cooktop, no tea towel, no seasoning etc), poor toiletries, incorrect instructions re parking spot (which then had angry neighbours berating us). Lots to be unhappy with
