Adam and Joanne are very lovely! They make you feel very welcome like you are visiting old friends, not strangers. The Garth is the epitomy of British bed & breakfasts- individual rooms, excellent breakfast and friendly guests. Location for Bangor (especially the beach & pier area) is perfect! Despite being on a main road, it is very quiet.

Very welcoming and let us drop our cases off early. That was greatt!! Which meant we had the day to see bangor and walk to Anglesey. The owners were lovely and would do anything for us. We had a cooked breakfast in the morning and that was really nice. Lovely clean guest house.

The room was very clean and had all you needed. It was a good size for the 3 of us and the beds were very comfy.

It’s a reasonably priced, older style guesthouse at the pier end of Bangor. The owners serve a good breakfast and are very helpful and friendly. There’s a pub that serves fish & chips close by, and it’s only a short distance into the main town for shopping and food. There is some parking on the property, but free street parking nearby.

The shared bathroom is a little spartan, and the shower cabinet small enough to be awkward for a larger person.
