Sehr nettes hotel, schöne Zimmer. Pool etwas klein. In Da Nang gibt es sehr viele Baustellen mit viel Lärm. Je nachdem, wann man dort ist, kann es auch laut sein. Recht abgelegen, also Fahrzeug oder Taxi nötig.

Kein Zimmer Service, aber wir haben auch nicht gefragt.

"For the money not worth it in Da Nang can get far better service and room for less"

Good communication beforehand from the host to confirm my reservation, I have had some issues on this site where I have made a reservation and when I arrive I have been told no room (3 times in 11 days in Vietnam). Once sent photo of passport and visa stamp you get a message for self check in. Swimming pool upon into the building complex, did not use but did see other guests use it. Nice new looking room which was impressive at first. The bed was large and comfy very much appreciated by Westerners, the room has good working AC and a fan, there was a TV but I never used it, WiFi worked well enough and there is a small fridge.

Upon arrival unable to open front door with code provided but found was due to the keypad having plastic cover on it must have been recently fitted but was not sure how other guests were able to get it. Also found on my 2nd night 2 slightly drunk young ladies waiting by the door unable to get in so can be tricky to use after a night out. Bed has extended wooden platform that can knock into with your ankles when walking around the room. Soundproofing terrible both mornings around 8am whoever was in the room above me was making banging sounds and moving furniture which made loud scraping sounds was annoying. Sunday morning from 8am there was loud excessive music being played, was unable to tell if was from within the building or external but then found it was a wedding happening in the adjacent street. Music did not stop and was still playing when I left the room to go for lunch. Fortunately when I returned in the evening the wedding was over. Mosquitoes in the room was bitten badly in the night on my arms. Shower water pressure weak. There is one opening besides the bathtub which looks out to the stairwell. Initially unaware of its location but if someone is walking and talking on the stairwell it takes you by surprises especially if you are having a shower as not sure if they can see you. Further investigation on the stairwell proves it's too high an opening to be peered through however was concerning. Also this opening is where the mosquitoes are entering the room. I appreciate is for ventilation from the shower but needs to covered with mesh to stop insects getting into the room. Glass water bottle in room not sure if was filtered prefer plastic sealed water bottles. Also a kettle but no tea/coffee provided. No housekeeping done. No laundry facility. No bin in room only small one in bathroom. Early check out 11am!

"Thank God it was just one night."

The only real positive from this stay was that the bed was comfortable

Difficult to know where to start. But here goes. On arrival door locked.we had already cleared with the hotel that we could drop our bags early at midday. 15 minutes of banging on the door and finally someone decided to check what all the noise was about! Fast forward to actual check in, Given the keys and we trotted off to our room. We had booked a room with balcony.... what a joke! Our room was room 402 and our so called balcony was the corridor leading from the lift to room 401 ! To our further horror the room was fitted with bi-folding glass doors. So the option was to either sit in a hallway or room with curtains closed for some element of privacy! Our complete displeasure was relayed to the desk clerk who told us she would contact her manager to see what could be done. We were then contacted by the manager who started rabbiting on about this being a homestay model....what difference does that make?,and incidentally, not mentioned once on booking.com description. Manager offered a 10% discount on room rate and late checkout to 2pm. Seeing as we didn't want to sit for an extra couple of hours in a darkened room ,we declined. We have been in Vietnam for some time and although this not the worst place we've stayed in.Its very close to it. This particular hotel/homestay? highlights the very reason why we make single night reservations and extend if they match up to their booking.com description. Other niggly things like TV remote not working, poor shower and bizarrely, a fridge that randomly started to shake and make a noise like a cement mixer only added to our very poor experience. As the title says "Thank God it was just one night"
