Comfort Inn Warren - Detroit North

Everything was good with the room/location and staff. My only complaint is our room key not working . When I checked into the room I took my belongings up and couldn’t get into the room I called front desk to get a new set of keys as the one I had wasn’t working . He told me to make sure my phone wasn’t near the key , because it will cancel the room key out. Which I didn’t have my phone near it at all. Later that night me and my boyfriend left the room to get some food , as we came back we experienced the same problem with our key not working to get into the room . We told the front desk again , he came up with two/ three different sets of keys and none of them worked . He then apologized and said he will switch our room the problem was we had all our belongings inside that room so he said that he would open it with the mast key instead .

Problem getting inside my hotel room . No kind of compensation received but I still love the location and have nothing else to complain about .

The price was great. The customer service was amazing too. Really close to everywhere we needed to go.

There were cigarette burns in the carpet. The room was really dingy and dark. You could smell cigarette smoke in the hall. There was some type of construction going on that we weren't warned about beforehand. I would still come back if needed though. We were just here a couple nights to sleep. Not hang out or anything.

Bed wasn’t comfortable. Guests were loud one late night.
