Beautiful place and scenery hosted by a traditional family run business. Views are breathtaking and highly recommended. Food is excellent we had lovely breakfast on the terrace and had evening food also which was delicious. Can’t fault and will definitely be going back!

Beautiful panoramic view of the lake. Convenient location (if you with a car) and comfortable accommodation.

Perfect location! The view from the balcony is breathtaking. Absolutely beautiful place, located on the hill (so a car is recommended), which suits us perfectly, although we didn't get much of the lake view from our room. It is distant from the village center, which we liked, but quite close (with a car) to the ferries and main villages on the lake.

It was my wife's 50th birthday, and I booked this place expecting a pleasant and romantic atmosphere for our stay. (We paid everything in advance in full.) I wanted to surprise my wife with a nice gesture in the room. Despite trying a few times prior to our arrival, I didn't receive any response to my requests from Al Veluu. I also requested to receive some information and photos of the room since I couldn't see much on their website/Booking.com for the specific room we got confirmation to and wanted to ensure the place meets my expectations for our important occasion. There are only four rooms in this place: two suites and two king-size rooms. We expected the place, which is supposed to be romantic, to be responsive and provide a bit of extra touch to make our stay pleasant. We were disappointed that we didn't get anything to mark the occasion in the room (a flower, chocolate, wine, etc., would have been nice). On the first morning, someone tried to open the door with a key, waking us up. There is an internal door leading towards the kitchen/restaurant that was locked. Luckily, we had put our key in this lock the night before, preventing entry. In my messages that were never replied to, I also asked if it was possible to book a table for dinner at the restaurant for either of the two nights, as we wanted to celebrate my wife's birthday with a good meal. We were disappointed we didn’t get any reply (later when we arrived, we asked and understood the place is full now) So we had to find other places for dinner on both nights. The restaurant was literally outside of our room, which could have been quite handy. However, we couldn't be part of the evening atmosphere and could only hear the noise from the restaurant. In general, to be honest, we didn't feel very welcome. At the end of our stay, no one even bothered to ask us how our stay was.

We adored everything about our stay - the food was just delicious at dinner!

Great location, very comfortable, great hosts!

Ideally need a car as the suites are a bit of a walk up a hill from the public transport stops.
