Homewood Suites by Hilton Houston-Woodlands-Shenandoah

The staff were kind and helpful. The rooms and hotel were clean. It was quiet.

I was sad that the hot tub was broken.

Convenient location

The tiles in the room were cracked and coming up. Shower leaked from the room above us and water was dripping in the air return. Water staining from what I assume is the same leak, was in the ceiling and walls in the same area. Old food smudges were found on the chair in the kitchen. Pillows went flat the minute you layer on them. I asked for additional pillows and staff told me to come get them. No effort to ensure we were comfortable was made. When we checked out, I said we are checking out room /:;, I guess he didn’t hear me state the room number and rudely told me he didn’t know what room I was checking out of. So I repeated myself. I also told him they were written on the keys I just handed him. Overall, just wasn’t a great room or stay.

The people who run this establishment are the main reason why I stay here and nowhere else. I feel like I am visiting old friends for the weekend.

I always have a hard time finding the entrance and the carpet needs to be replaced. Minor issues.

The staff were lovely, the breakfast great value, and the room was clean. We were comfortable.

The room decor could do with an update.

The guy that checked me in at the front counter, was very helpful. Needed food delivered & he gave me a full sheet of places. Very helpful. Very spacious room. with the main room, fridge, table, sofa, nice size TV with a good selection of channels. The bedroom had two beds, high ceilings, ceiling fan. Bathroom was extremely clean, large sink and counter top. Nice size dual closet. And, another nice size TV in the bedroom. The parking lot is fully lit up at night, they have an armed security guard who was very polite. Breakfast was perfect to get the day started. For the price, no real complaints.

The room did have a slight smell but I always carry lysol to spray at hotels. It is a clean issue with me. But otherwise, not bad.
