Value for money is questionable you pay for a nicer room with a bath and the bath hasn't got enough water pressure to fill it. WiFi is not good enough on the boat

The staff were incredible, very helpful and so friendly. The two hosts Duc and Andrew were very knowledgeable and funny and really made our stay great. The food was fantastic and activities were very fun with the option of just hanging out in your room if you were tired.

Zero complaints about Era Cruises at all. Ha Long bay has a fair amount of trash that needs to be removed but not sure how that would be funded! Also the small boats trying to sell expensive snacks were annoying.

It has been a great stay, the manager of the cruise and the staff were really kind and helpful.

Almost everything was good

Great suite, nice staff on board, our funny guide Mr. D., kindness of all staff, movie theater on board, cleaning, staff communication and support. Great first lunch and good omlette for breakfast.

Buffet dinner. After 5 minutes from dinner starting lots of buffet dishes got finished and was not refilled. Partially same story happened during the breakfast but we compensated with 3 great omlettes. Moreover, lot of that food got to waste because guests refilled before there plates fully and unproperly so we found not enough food. The dinner should be served to table as first lunch (which was excellent in terms of quality and variety of food and as service) instead of buffet service.

The very large Terrace Suite with private balcony was great. The staff were all fantastic. Mr Kenny was excellent! Great food and plenty of it. They set up a cute towel swans and rose petals in the bed for our Anniversary and it was very much appreciated.

The ship needs some general maintenance, our Tap in the bathroom leaked constantly on to the vanity and on to the floor. Basic things like knobs missing off draws, stained chair cushions, tv didn’t work. Please keep announcements outside of meal times, it’s very annoying and noisey and ruins the lovely dining experience. No timetable to let us know what was happening, so there was confusion about times for tours starting etc. having this may eliminate the need for the dinner time announcements! These little things are not complaints , just some feed back which hopefully would make the cruise even better.

The cruise manager Owen made this trip an amazing one. He is such a good communicator and will help you with whatever you may need. The room was beautiful, large, amazing view and everything you need. Being on the first floor we could hear kids above us running around all the time but otherwise it was exceptional. Laying in the bed and watching the world go by was such a treat and the bath in the window was unlike anything else. The rest of the staff were so friendly, professional, happy and very good to us. We were only on the boat for one night but bonded really quickly to all the staff. It's truly an amazing experinece.

I rarely get sea sick but on one of the offsite days got a little bit sick would recommend bringing medicine just in case.

Beautiful location and an amazing boat with great cabins

Something which they didn’t tell you until you were on the boat, was the free wifi was only in reception and on the main floor- not in the cabins. I understand the reasoning behind it, you’re in a beautiful location- you don’t need to be on your phone. But after 7pm or so when it is dark outside, there is not a lot to do activity wise, so the option to go into your air conditioned cabin and watch a movie or call family was not an option.
