The rooms are much smaller than in the photos, it generally looks very dark and it smelled musty. We didn't really feel comfortable and at a very high price.

Very nice hotel with extremely authentic Japanese culture experience. It is an old building but can meet all the modern needs. The bath area is unique and big, the hot spring is comfortable. It was a wonderful experience.

Real character property, beautifully kept - it has much more history and style than the bigger hotels. Most of our group had never been to Japan before and started their trip here - their first time with futon beds in some rooms and also their first time going to the onsen. There is plenty of parking - we hired a car to drive to Hongu Taisha shrine and Yumomine onsen. The hotel staff were attentive when required and otherwise so discreet that it felt like we had the place to ourselves. We absolutely loved our stay!

Very friendly, small ryokan , great location just above Ginza street and easy walk to the beach. Traditional hotel, not renovated (maybe better that way?) but well maintained and clean. Way better than staying in a big concrete/eyesore hotel.

Book breakfast in advance!

Outdoor Onsen and location

Cleaning at Onsen area. And if they have specialty meal plan , it will be more attractive. Such as crab meal plan for dinner .

Beautiful building, freshly renovated. Traditional Ryoken with the comfort of actual beds rather than futons on the floor. Quite a good location as close to everything but access is via a steep hill.

Definitely need clearer address/location as we couldn’t find it with the listed address given on Booking .com & also the name of the property wasn’t coming up on Google Maps
