Close to the airport
Very basic and rundown rooms. Very noisy close to the road at night. Air con control not working so either freezing cold when on or hot when off :(

It is close to the airport I would say Sandakan was not the best place to be and wouldn;t recommend the area Was easy to check in
Not 100% clean A lot of people hanging around the hotel which was a bit disconcerting

Super friendly staff. Room size super big, feels like a suite, table and chairs. Double bed bigger than usual. 7 power sockets! Smart TV.
Very bad WiFi, can't load any program. AC not cold enough for big room.

This is close to the airport but pretty remote.
A lot of men hanging around the reception. As a group of women I was pretty uncomfortable. Sandakan is not the nicest place either
