Exceptional nice facility

Entry is only through the front. It would be great if the parking-lot door accepted the code—we had to walk around after parking.

The property was zero touch, meaning nobody to check you in. Our Taylor Suite was apartment like. Separate sleeping room from the main sitting area, even had a small kitchen with refrigerator, stove and dishwasher. Was great room for two.

I’m mobility challenged, so getting up and down the three small steps out front was challenging. Especially in the late afternoon when the railing was super hot. Once inside there is an elevator. There should be a sign in the common hallways to speak softly, as the voices really echo. The earplugs on the nightstand were there for a reason. The cars and heavy traffic noise on the Main street out front got to be a little much.

The suite was beautiful—very clean and fresh and nicely appointed. We loved the quirky old (but also appropriately updated) building. Check in was super easy.

The only problem—and though it wasn’t the hotel’s fault, it was unfortunately a real problem—was that there was SO MUCH TRAFFIC on Main Street. I don’t think there was anything unusual going on; it’s just a noisy street. The noise of pick-up trucks and 18-wheelers made it hard to get to sleep at night, and then woke us up at 6 the next morning. Maybe some sound proofing windows would help?
