Sao Vicente is definitely a great place for the northwest part of your Madeira trip! I was very happy to find this Appartement for actually a really decent price! We had a great time and I would only leave some small constructive criticism. Positive: As mentioned above price/value ratio! Parking included (anyways very easy in Sao Vicente). Location very central and just 1min away from the big supermarket in this little town. The ocean is not even 10mins walking distance. Also some great restaurants at the pier.

Negative: We stayed in Appartement III. The Appartement itself is pretty nice and we were all in all happy! Just the flooring in the kitchen (entrance area) needs to be changed. It would make such a difference, since as of now you do not want to walk around there without shoes on! Mabye you can fix that. Second: Unfortunately the Appartement had a bad smell when entering on day 1 (which got better afterwards, but would be lying if I say the smell was gone). Smelled like a "wet cat", if you know what I mean.. Surely you can do something about this as well. And lastly: For 4 nights you just get one towel per person. Wouldn't normally be a problem, but with the humidity in Madeira our stuff was just not drying properly! We asked for a second towel, and this wish was denied.. Sad, because this would have surely changed my overall experience. And kindly correct your address here on booking.com. This Appartement is closed to the ocean, which is a + and you should look into this! :-) So just some small quirks, but other than that a good stay and I still can recommend!

J'ai adoré l’emplacement, le calme, la propreté de l’appartement à l’arrivée, son caractère moderne ainsi que ses équipements. Proche de toutes les commodités, avec un supermarché à une minute à pied, ainsi que des restaurants et autres commerces à proximité.

J’ai trouvé qu’il manquait des multiprises. Par exemple, dans la chambre, si l’on souhaite brancher son téléphone la nuit et le poser sur la table de chevet, il faut débrancher la lampe. C’est un petit détail, mais la présence d’une multiprise dans ce type d’espace serait un vrai plus. J’ai également remarqué l’absence de certains ustensiles de cuisine pratiques, comme un saladier et une passoire, notamment pour préparer des pâtes où une salade par exemple.

En el apartamento III aunque tiene bastante ventilación, en general hay olor y manchas de humedad. Es una vivienda de paso solamente para dormir y bastante impersonal. No es una vivienda que te permite disfrutar de vistas o del entorno para desayunar o simplemente leer un libro.
