The staff were very good, but do text before your arrival to make sure somebody is there otherwise youll be stuck outside. Very nice place overall however if you want some culture.

it is an inside / outside property so as long as you’re willing to have a few bugs / ants around. (No complaints about cleaning just what comes with wooden structures and outdoor bathrooms) not my kind of thing so 2 days was enough here.

The place was amazing loved. It would definitely stay here again. Wish I could’ve stayed for longer. The pool was beautiful always clean the bed and the bathroom were amazing. It would definitely be good for a couple only 10 minutes to the heart of Uluwatu and 10 minutes to the beach.

The unit is EXTREMELY hot, very uncomfortable during the day the only time it was tolerable was at night. There’s a window that opens up and you can see clearly to the bath tub which I did experience someone looking in. Lot of ants as well.

Hell on Earth – Avoid at All Costs Staying here was the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had. Though I had booked 12 nights, I left after just 4. The conditions were so stressful and miserable that I genuinely couldn’t take another day. The biggest issue? A toxic environment created and enabled by the owner, who not only neglects guest comfort but actively seems to sabotage it. Here are the facts: Daily Dog Feces at Your Doorstep – Like clockwork, twice a day, dog poop appeared right at my front door. The owner refuses to clean it, even when told. You have to wait for morning cleaning staff. Dogs Dominate Shared Spaces – Large dogs roam freely and swim in the pool before guests can use it. After I politely complained, the owner personally brought the dogs in for a "pool party" as a defiant response. Hostile, Immature Owner – The owner lives upstairs and behaves more like a feisty, moody teenager than a host—slamming doors, playing loud music, and creating conflict. He seems to enjoy making guests uncomfortable. Constant Noise – Between motorcycles on a major road, nearby construction with jackhammers, and loud arguments upstairs, peace and quiet is impossible. Ergonomically Uncomfortable Design – There is no comfortable seating if you want to work or relax. You constantly have to go up and down steep, poorly designed stairs just to access the bed, bathroom, or front door. It’s a daily obstacle course. Poor Construction Amplifies Noise – Thin glass walls and a concrete bed base turn every vibration into an echo chamber. It felt like construction noise was being channeled straight into my spine. Termite Infestation – At night, termite droppings literally fall from the ceiling onto your bed. Dirty, Unhygienic Shared Kitchen – The kitchen is kept filthy by the owners themselves. Piles of dirty dishes, moldy food in the fridge, leaking liquids—it's completely unsanitary. Health and Safety Concerns – I saw syringes all around the property.

The property is plagued by constant noise, unsanitary conditions, aggressive dogs, and an immature, confrontational owner who undermines guest comfort at every turn. Poor design, lack of cleanliness, and ongoing health and safety issues make it an exhausting and deeply unpleasant place to stay.

The pool was lovely, and the location is good. 10 min grab/taxi and you were in the main part of Ulu

To front door to the property fell off the hinges and bruised my legs. The locks were a nightmare, they massively need updating, for multiple days I struggled to lock or open the door to my room, it was painful at times. There is a couple which I think lives there (live in the room with the spiral staircase up) and they argued multiple times. They were also quite rude and made no effort to make anyone feel welcome. There were days that I didn’t even want to go out and use sunbeds and I just felt uncomfortable and didn’t feel welcome. Also the space for sunbathing is in the shade for most of the morning so there’s only a couple of hours unless you want to move the bed all the time. Also there’s only two beds for potentially 8 people staying there at one time. They also have two dogs and one of them barks CONSTANTLY. The room is not bug tight so I got bitten lots while I was there. For me it was a last minute deal, but would I stay here again no. And I would never pay the price that’s promoted.

Well they couldn’t even offer water to me no information shared whether I am suppose to like inform anyone. No care taker post 7 and sorry but the house owner should have kept his party to his house .

This is the last accommodation I have stayed in during my month stay in Bali and I can definitely say that it has been the best. I got greeted with a welcome coconut drink, which I thought was lovely. The room was very spacious, there’s a sitting area at the bottom of the bed, and there’s a lot of sockets for electronics all around the room and the bathroom- the bathroom was the highlight! it is an outside bathroom with a big bath tub and an outdoor shower. I’ve asked the staff to decorate it for me which they did for extra cost of course! But they did such an amazing job. Ugix and Uni have been so friendly and welcoming, definitely the best hosts I’ve had in Bali. They would help you with whatever you needed at whichever time. There are 2 loveliest Doberman dogs that stay in the accommodation but they are no harm at all ( I don’t normally like big dogs but they are so friendly and just want love and attention). The property is located in a great location, you can grab a motorbike and 5 minutes up the road is the main road with shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. in summary, I can safely say that I will be booking stays again when I go back to Bali at this accommodation. 11/10 rating.
