flora's memories appartment

It was a very clean apartment. Well furnished, good appliances. It was in a good location. We felt like we were at our own house. Our cat enjoyed it the most.

Parking could be a problem. Use backstreet.

We didn’t stay, we booked last minute, called owner and he said that he can’t guests us because is not clean and they are outside from Kavala. Non refundable, so I stayed with my family without room and money. Because was celebration in Greece we couldn’t find easy room, especially room who welcome and pets. So we must go out from Kavala to find the room. I believe maybe they don’t know to work with booking or they are new or they forgot to close, but my family and me we were out of choice in that moment / husband, my mum, 2 kids plus me/ Of course I contacted and call customer service, two times line was interrupted, no help and from booking agent in England, Greek customer service didn’t work. And now I am waiting for my refund from 7 to 12 days.

The hosts were very generous and communicative. Their welcoming messages in advance of our stay, and a New Year's cake and a bottle of ouzo for when we arrived were gratefully received! The place was freshly decorated and was spotless. There was drinking water, creamers and coffee for the morning, and fresh towels, warm extra blankets and very comfortable beds. All round, very good attention to detail. It's a stone's throw from the town centre, the marina and good places to eat. Convenience stores and lovely bakeries are a short walk away. Kavala is a hidden gem, and Flora's Memories Apartment is a perfect place from which to explore.

A table lamp would be good in the main living area, and the steps up to the flat might be a little tricky for someone with a stroller or mobility issues.
