"Exceptional"

Very spacious and unique designed apartment, fully equipted. Very nice terace with an incredible view to Etna. Central location, close to everything. Air conditioning in bedrooms, perfect wifi. The host is extremely helpful.

Very high ant straight stair to appartment would be a real problem for people with mobility issues.

In casa Maio you feel really welcomed. The apartment is clean, very well located, with a beautiful terrazza to look the sea from above. The host is super nice and helpful. Highly recommend

"Nonna’s house in town with amazing views"

We loved the central location and the Italian vibe of the home, it was like walking into nonna’s house. Very charming! Many many steps as the house is on 3 levels. Views from the balcony were amazing, Etna on right and ocean on left. We parked at Lumbi car park and took the shuttle into town which was a 5 walk from the house. The rooms were air conditioned and spacious.

The shower definitely needs an upgrade!! And it would have been good to have aircon in the kitchen upstairs.

"Room with a view in Taormina"

Excellent location to visit Taormina. Car park around the corner, which is very helpful. Very friendly lady of the house. Fantastic view.

One of the beds of the kids was making a lot of noise. No other remarks.

"Superb"

Our hostess, Patrizia was quick to respond to questions and met us at the property which was close to everything that Taormina has to offer. The terrace from the kitchen has spectacular views of Mount Etna. Loved our stay at Casa Maio.

For those with mobility issues there are lots of stairs.

This charming house transports you back in time. It's spacious, with a beautiful terrace, and comes fully equipped. The location is excellent—just a 4-minute walk from Porta Messina. The host is very responsive. Highly recommended!

The appartament was very clean. Big open space kitchen with lots of light. Very Nice and traditionally decorated. It had everything we needed during our stay. The terrace was the cherry on top. We were mesmerized by the view of Etna.
